Like many seniors, Linda lives alone and does not have a lot of daily company. Also like many seniors, she has faced scary health situations, including cancer and lupus, which had drained her resources. She lost her home and her car. Oliver, her PALS dog, has been a huge bright spot through these challenges, staying by her side, and helping her to stay positive when she is feeling all alone in the world. When Oliver developed dental problems, our PALS program was there to coordinate his veterinary care. When he had skin problems, the PAWSBINK PALS program was there to help with medication and provide regular professional grooming to keep his curly white coat in good shape. “On days when I get blue, I just think of my grandchildren and Oliver and it makes me smile!”-Linda
