Smokey the cat’s story begins with exploring in his home’s garage where he fell into an open container of motor oil. His owner rushed him to Tender Touch Animal Hospital in Kingston. Tender Touch and PAWSBINK collaborate often so the staff there knew we had a Veterinary Assistance for Owned Animals program. They contacted PAWSBINK and we covered the expenses to save Smokey.

Smokey may not agree that this is a happy ending; he went through a two hour bath to clean the toxic motor oil from his fur and had his feet trauma repaired. With a few medications, he will be good as new.
